About Us
The Richmond River Gun Club (RRGC) has worked diligently over the years and owns the entire shooting facility, having recently purchased seventeen hectares from the Lismore City Council to complete the facility.
The RRGC is a friendly welcoming, family based clay target shooting facility (definitely not an open gun range) just to come and try, however, still maintaining the strictest discipline which our sport demands of us. We are a competition based club, and every member is expected to take part in competition shooting at their level, at some stage.
In short the Richmond River Gun Club (RRGC) is a regional clay target shooting facility. It has been in existence for over sixty years in various locations. We have been in our present location for over forty years.
Our club caters for most clay target shooting disciplines including Down the Line (DTL), Skeet, Sporting, and Ball trap. A DTL night shoot is held monthly on a Friday night during the summer months.
